Yesterday we went to our Home Teacher's farm instead of him coming to our house. Sarah and I got to ride the horse Tater Tot. (His show name is Amber War Bonnet.) Sarah could not stop smiling, and despite my fear of horses, she did well too.
We also got to feed the chickens. There were about 100 of them and they smelled just as bad as I remember. Matt went into one of the coops to see how the egg gathering setup was set up and a chicken above his head got spooked. Yep, you guessed it, chicken poop. I laughed so hard I almost cried, but then couldn't breathe properly in the car on the way home. Man, does that stuff stink. I sent Matt to the shower, but ended up taking one too because I felt like the smell had gotten in my hair and pores. Eeww!
Did I remember the camera to take pictures of the horse and the poop? Nope. Talked about it before leaving, but then forgot. Sorry fans.
